Epoxy and polyurethane resin: where to buy it?

Each resin is accompanied by detailed instructions for use.

Both epoxy and polyurethane resins are two-component, so called because they always need 2 components to have catalysis (i.e., curing). Specifically, to use them, you need to have a base resin, called component A, and a curing agent supplied, component B. The proportions between the two components are indicated on each type of resin available. Once mixed, epoxy and polyurethane resin harden at room temperature and result in objects that are as hard as plastic, shiny, and easy to color.

Both are resins suitable for silicone molds, and casting, are odorless, non-toxic, and suitable for any creative and DIY work.

Epoxy resins are glossy, and transparent, and are used to make surfaces such as tables, countertops, metric squares, and much more; in contrast, polyurethane resins are white or gray and are mainly used for prototyping and model-making to be colored as desired.

Which resin to choose? The answer is that it always depends on your intended use and the area in which you need to employ them.
